HISTORY

HISTORY

Established in 1999, the DataFlex Developers and Users Group (DDUG) runs an annual conference within Australia or New Zealand for the Data Access Worldwide product suite and other related products and topics.

Since holding the first conference in 2000 at Corio, Victoria between Melbourne and Geelong at the Shell social club, the DDUG has gone onto hold conferences from Fremantle in Western Australia to Christchurch in New Zealand. Recently the DDUG held it’s 15th anniversary conference in Wellington New Zealand.

Since the beginning Data Access Worldwide have been providing valuable resources to the conferences either by providing staff to attend in person or via the web.

In 2015 we decided to rename our annual conference from Corroboree to DAPCON (DataFlex Asia Pacific Conference) to create a more professional name, fitting our conferences.

AIMS

AIMS

The DDUG (Dataflex Developers and Users Group Inc) is a not for profit Australian organisation, with members throughout the Australasian region. We promote Visual Dataflex, an extensive development environment for data related business applications under Windows and the Internet. We meet once a year in the Australasian region, to exchange ideas, organise training and have a great time. We have called this annual event the Corroboree (Ceremonial meeting of Australians).

Our first Corroboree was in 2000, at the Shell Club in Geelong, Victoria. This was attended by 15 developers from all over Australia. It proved to be an immediate success, growing steadily in numbers since then at conferences all around Australian and New Zealand.
